The Bacchus Trail, a sporting and festive adventure that is already shaping up to be legendary. Open to all profiles, this trail comes in three formats — 15 km, 24 km, and 43 km — offering a full immersion in the heart of the iconic landscapes of Beaujolais.

On the program: live music entertainment, wine and gourmet tastings, and of course, costumed participants to keep the event’s festive spirit alive!

      Trail 13km

      The 15 km course starts from Gleizé and follows the trails through Denicé and Lacenas. This loop is accessible to all and perfect for discovering trail running, featuring a positive elevation gain of 200 meters.

      Elevation : 200 m (D+/D-)

      Start time: 8:15 AM from Gleizé

      Trail 21km

      The 24 km course, with a positive elevation gain of 500 meters, starts from Gleizé and passes through the villages of Denicé, Montmelas, and Lacenas.

      Designed for trail runners and sporty hikers, this route offers a festive atmosphere set against the iconic landscapes of Beaujolais.

      Elevation: 500 m (D+/D-)

      Start time: 8:00 AM from Gleizé

      Trail 42km

      Calling all experienced trail runners! The 43 km route is a real test, featuring 1,300 meters of elevation gain. Starting at 7:00 AM from Gleizé, this course takes you through Denicé, Montmelas, the Chapel of Saint-Bonnet, Saint-Cyr-le-Châtoux, Rivolet, and Lacenas.

      Experience a full immersion in the world of Beaujolais, combining high performance with breathtaking scenery!

      Elevation: 1,300 m (D+/D-)
