Exactly which information do we collect and how do we use it?
I) Registration of runners and volunteers
By registering for one of the races or for one of the other events of the International Marathon of Beaujolais, you confirm your agreement to our confidentiality policy concerning the security of your personal details. The information which you provide to us as part of the registration process to either a race or another event of the International Marathon of Beaujolais, is used exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the smooth running of the races and/or of the other events.
The Beaujolais Runners solemnly undertake not to share, rent or sell under any circumstances, any personal information to any third party other than as described in the clauses of this confidentiality policy document.
In order to participate in one of the races or in one of the other events of the International Marathon of Beaujolais, you must complete a registration form with the following information which is essential to ensure the smooth running of the whole festival:
- Surname,
- First Name,
- Gender,
- Date of Birth,
- Email Address,
- Home Address,
- Nationality,
- Telephone Number,
- T-Shirt size,
- The coordinates of the person to be contacted in case of an emergency (Surname, First Name and Telephone Number of this person)
- Medical Certificate
You may be asked for other information during the registration process. Providing this information, which will be used exclusively for statistical or communication purposes, is entirely optional.

For the current legally prescribed period.
Access to your personal details
You are entitled to access your personal details at any time in order either to correct or or to delete them by contacting us on contact@marathondubeaujolais.org. It is also possible for you to render your details anonymous on your registration page.
However, it must be understood that it will not be possible to render the details anonymous until 60 days after the event in order to ensure that its smooth running is not impaired. All elements of information as well as any attached documents will be irrevocably deleted.
You are able to unsubscribe at any time from our newsletters by clicking on the link “unsubscribe yourself” at the bottom of any of our commercial emails. You will no longer receive any commercial emails although you will continue to receive any information relevant to your registration for one of our events.
